Do you need a boost for your evangelism passion?
At MondayMorningInsight.com, Todd Rhodes simply quotes a conference speaker he listened to yesterday:
“Life is too short and hell is too hot to just play church.” Pastor Larry Osborne.

That is one of those quotes that “cuts to the chase”. Though I detest hell, fire and damnation sermons or evangelism approaches, contemplating hell is an excellent means of motivating believers to take evangelism more seriously.
You’ve got a point.
But to ponder it’s very existence give me a sense of urgency about those I care about.

I think we agree on this, Chris. Contemplating the existence of hell and the state of the unbeliever (especially those we care about via relationship) provides a sense of urgency in sharing though I’m not given to share hell with the unbeliever most of the time. Just the basic Gospel.
