Evangelism Conference: PostScripts from Michigan
Evangelism Training
I’m back from a 3 day Evangelism Training Seminar at the Lake Ann Camp, just outside of Traverse City Michigan, where I taught on conversational evangelism.
The group of folks came from a variety of denominations: Lutheran, Baptist, Independents, Presbyterian, Christian Reformed, and a few others.
Many came from the local area, and one couple came from Canada. I even met author Ken Kreh, who has written a book entited “I See Him, I see Him,” and runs a website at I See Jesus.net.
From Fear to Freedom:
The main thrust is all about the sovereignty of God, the initiating work of the Holy Spirit in evangelism, and listening to the Holy Spirit.
By the end of the workshop or conference, many have said “You have helped me move from fear of evangelism to a freedom to share my faith.” (See Testimonials)
My style is conversational evangelism, starting where my conversational partner is, rather than bringing them to a predetermined theological starting point. My goal is to help another person along in their spiritual journey to discover God through Christ.
