    That is one of those quotes that “cuts to the chase”. Though I detest hell, fire and damnation sermons or evangelism approaches, contemplating hell is an excellent means of motivating believers to take evangelism more seriously.

    But to ponder it’s very existence give me a sense of urgency about those I care about.

    I think we agree on this, Chris. Contemplating the existence of hell and the state of the unbeliever (especially those we care about via relationship) provides a sense of urgency in sharing though I’m not given to share hell with the unbeliever most of the time. Just the basic Gospel.
