Do you Need Evangelism coaching?
Last evening, I spent time in some personal evangelism training, coaching another person in their evangelism skills, and helping them discover an insight their personal evangelism.
It was an informal evangelism training conversation, and the person felt jazzed about what he has been learning and discovering.
He left prepared for the evangelism conversations he expected to have in the upcoming weekend.
I’m in the process of getting a certification in Christian Coaching, and have completed my first course. (See: Celebrating Coaching Milestone)
Do You need an Evangelism coach?
- Are you stuck in your personal evangelism?
- Do you find that your personal evangelism is not fruitful?
- Do all your conversations lead to a dead end?
- Do you lack motivation to regularly share your faith?
- Do you feel like you want to go further in your skill and maxed out your current resources?
- Do you have great evangelism ideas, but not able to accomplish any of them?
If you have answered yes to 3 or more, consider a coach to help you get beyond the barrier.
What do you want to get out of evangelism coaching?
To determine if you could benefit from coaching, start by summarizing what you would expect to accomplish in coaching.
When you have a pretty clear idea of the desired outcome, a coaching partnership can be a useful tool for developing a strategy for how to achieve that outcome with greater ease.
Ask yourself if you find it valuable to collaborate, to have another viewpoint and to be asked to consider new perspectives.
Ask yourself if you are ready to devote the time and the energy to making real changes in your work or life.
If the answer to these questions is yes, then coaching may be a beneficial way for you to grow and develop.
