7 Tips For More Spiritual Conversations

Most of us find that the frequency of our spiritual conversations diminish over time, simply because we are too busy with life.

The Ebb and Flow of Evangelism Conversations

conversation1.jpgWe go to a conference, get pumped to talk with people about Jesus, and then over time, the number of conversations diminish.

We might read an Evangelism Book that inspires us to once again engage the world in conversation, but after a few weeks, we are back into our routines.

We might hear a good sermon on reaching the lost that inspires us to talk with our friends about the Lord, but after a few weeks, that motivation is gone and we’re talking about life.

It’s a natural rhythm that affects us.

The image in my mind is a gas tank that is full after the filling station and is drained simply by driving.

The farther we get away from whatever event has motivated us to share our faith with are friends, the less likely we are to share — the fuel has run low.

Besides, there is an enemy of our souls that would have us be silent anyway and that only helps us from taking the risk to share our faith.
