Launch an Evangelism Training Group

This week, I will launch my own Evangelism Training Small Group.

A group of men have approached me to do personal evangelism training and have committed a six week 6 Week Evangelism Small Group.

This evangelism small group will focus on personal evangelism as a lifestyle, and each of these men want accountability in forming genuine relationships outside the church.  They each want to have more evangelistic conversations, whether with friends or divine appointments with strangers.

As we go through this, with their permission, I’ll be posting insights here.

They eventually want to lead their own evangelism training small groups.  For me, this raises the question: what makes an effective evangelism trainer?

Chris, I think a fundamental qualification for being an effective evangelism trainer is to be evangelizing… Needs to be part of their lifestyle. Not talking about head counts for people who are won to Christ but rather whose prayers are focused on how the Lord wants to use them in the process.
