Chris has been conducting Evangelism training since 1995, mostly to church boards, regional governing bodies, and individual churches, throughout North and South America.

Chris is available to conduct live seminars and workshops for your church or denominational governing body.
We can also arrange for “open to the public” type meetings that are sponsored by your church for your area.

A Typical Evangelism Workshop
Our typical workshops focus on either
- personal evangelism, or
- church growth (how welcome church visitors and assimilation)
Each segment is usually about 90 minutes in length to allow time for breaks and refreshments.
Segments can be joined together to build a day-long event or even a multi-day event or retreat.
The basic format is a seminar, using continuously updated material , and displayed via projectors. Break out discussions are utilized in many workshops.
Participants receive copies of the slides with room to make notes in the margins.
Some events will include a prayer ministry time in partnership with the local pastor that is hosting the event. This is usually in coordination with retreats or multi-day events.
Common Themes
Practical. Relevant. Passionate. These are common exclamations that participants share after a workshops.
Throughout these workshops you will hear an emphasis on various themes, such as the sovereignty of God in evangelism, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and trusting the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
You will hear lots of evangelism training tips and solid theology from a Reformed perspective (I am an ordained Presbyterian Pastor).
You will learn many different ways of non-confrontational evangelism in ways that suit your personality and ways of relational evangelism that fit your style
You will receive lots practical tips in each and every workshop.

Why should you host live evangelism training?
Many churches are stuck. The passion for evangelism has long since waned, and evangelism might be seen as the means of survival. Some are stuck in old patterns of thinking and simply need to be challenged and shown how to engage the current world.
Hosting a workshop can serve as a catalyst to help reignite a passion for evangelism wherever God has you and your church planted.
It provides you the information and practical tools that you and your church need to step into God’s calling for you.
In our workshops, you will hear lots of information to help you overcome fears of evangelism, to help stimulate your own discovery of your church’s style of evangelism, and to get jazzed about evangelism that can be done by ordinary people.
At this point, all workshops are conducted in English, but I’m working on preparing them in Spanish so that there will be greater reach into Latin America and the Spanish language churches in the United States. Several have been prepared, but more are coming.

For cost effectiveness, we have a one day minimum and at least 25 participants.
Conference hosts are expected to cover travel expenses for airfare, rental car, and hotel. Meals and personal expenses are not included. If Chris is in the same region on the same trip conducting multiple events for different paying hosts, travel expenses will be shared equally among the different events.
Hosts are encouraged to charge a small fee to registrants for the workshops to cover that cost.
Love offerings can be received to further the ministry of Evangelism Coach. Some organizations will use the love offering to cover their cost for me, and then any overages are given to the ministry of Evangelism Coach.
