Well said. thanks for dropping by!
Evangelism or for the purpose of illustration soul winning is a ministry of greatly needed participation, it is not an armchair activity you can’t catch fish without going to where the fish are. Soul fishing is better done where people gather together. You won’t catch fish from a puddle nor will you catch people in an open and empty field. You need equipment to go fishing, pole, line, hooks, bait, and so on.
For soul fishing you also need to be prepared, you need to study, you need to read, you need your Bible, and you must rely on the Holy Spirit, and of course there are optional items like tracts. And once you catch them you need to clean them. Cooking and eating a fish with its guts still inside is onto a good idea. So we, the soul winners need to take up the art of discipling. The great commission is only half done when someone is saved they need to be tought to do whatsoever Jesus commands.
GO YE ACTUALLY MEANS GO ME. Pray for the harvest but be ready to be the answer to your own prayer AMEN.

“Evangelizing in the church is like fishing in a bathtub: it’s terribly convenient, but you don’t catch much.” (Dr. Roy Fish)
Favorite and most thought provoking is the one by Paul Little… “If we don’t know any non-Christians, how can we introduce them to the Savior.” Causes me to pray more for the oppportunities around me.
