I’m normally hesitate about any seminar that claims to “coach” people for evangelism, but this was the real deal. Good theology and good practical explanations!
I never knew sharing my faith could simply be part of the story of who I am. I feel much more confident discussing my faith with my friends. Chris is one of the spiritual leaders that makes PC(USA) look good.

Chris has a good handle on what it means to connect evangelism with disciple making. He has the ability and insight to enable and inspire congregations to catch a glimpse of the mission of God, which includes both faith sharing and social justice.
His website “Evangelism Coach” is full of very practical and helpful evangelism resources. His approach to evangelism is very authentic and grounded in the gospel. Chris has a heart for Christ and the church.

For those who don’t know me, I was on your staff at National Capital for 8 years doing church development, and now I consult all over the country.
I am excited to hear that Chris will be in your midst. He and I were both key note speakers at a national event a little over a year ago.
I was impressed with Chris’ combination of experience and knowledge and how well he invites his listeners in to the ideas he shares.
He has lots of good stories to help you connect with what he is trying to explain. He will offer you practical help and even leave you with action steps you can take home.
I am convinced that all of us, no matter our theological stripe, need to reclaim evangelism as part of our ministry. There is a lot of research out there that shows that Presbyterians have tended to abandon evangelism (for a variety of reasons). While you don’t have to become Billy Graham, or take on a style that does not fit for you, but I do believe you (and I) need to become better at faith sharing again. Chris will help you do that.

I have been blessed with attending both a national conference that Chris Walker was a workshop leader as well as having him lead a two hour workshop at the Church I serve as pastor.
Chris is a highly accessible speaker who brings a passion and energy to his workshops that is contagious.
His two hour traveling workshop is a wonderful way to start conversations about evangelism in a congregation.
Chris highlights the common fears we all have about evangelism and offers Biblical, theological and practical ideas for overcoming them.
I look forward to working with Chris in the future as we hold a multi-weekend conference for national Capital Presbytery where he will be the leader.
